We're building Up Speed's referral program properly before we open it, which means the commission structure, the attribution and the payouts all get settled first. No half-built links, no vague promises about what you'll get paid. Why we're doing it this way

Plenty of referral programs launch with a big number on the landing page and nothing behind it. We'd rather show you a real commission rate, a real cookie window and a real payout threshold once we've decided them, than write a headline we'd have to walk back. Up Speed is pre-launch. This page is honest about that.

  • Easy to recommend: Up Speed is a care SLA, not an uptime SLA. Hosts guarantee the server is on. We fix what actually breaks the site: plugin conflicts, failed updates, malware, performance drops. That's a real difference you can explain in one sentence.
  • Who it's for: Freelancers, web designers, consultants and anyone whose clients keep asking who'll look after the site after launch. If you'd rather hand that off than do it yourself at 11pm, this is aimed at you.
  • Terms still being set: Commission structure, cookie window, payout minimum: none of it is decided yet, so we're not going to print a number. When it's set, waitlist first, publicly second.

What happens next

Three steps. Two of them are live today, one isn't yet.

Step 1

Add your email

One field, no application form, no interview. You're on the list and that's it. We won't use the address for anything other than the partner program.

Step 2

We send you the terms

When the commission structure, cookie window and payout minimum are settled, you get them in writing before anyone else does. If they don't work for you, ignore the email. There's nothing to cancel.

Step 3

Refer people, once this part exists

Being straight with you: there is no referral link, no tracking and no payout mechanism built yet. Step 3 is what we're working toward, not something you can start today. We'll tell you the day it's real.

What we're still deciding

This is the honest state of the program. Rather than invent numbers to fill a page, here's the actual list of open questions. Waitlist members get the answers first, and get to push back on them before we finalize.

  • Commission structure: flat fee per referral, a percentage, or recurring. Undecided
  • Cookie window: how long a referral stays attributed to you. Undecided
  • Payout minimum and payment schedule. Undecided
  • Payout method and which countries we can pay into. Undecided
  • Whether the program covers all three plans or only some
  • Referral link tracking and attribution: not built yet
  • Promotional assets: none exist today, and we won't pretend otherwise

What you can do

Nothing here needs our permission or a signed agreement. If Up Speed is genuinely useful to someone you know, tell them. When the program opens, this is the kind of promotion it will cover.

  • Recommend Up Speed to clients who need someone to maintain their site
  • Write or record honest reviews, comparisons and tutorials
  • Mention us in business, WordPress and web design communities where it's relevant
  • Point people at the free site audit, no credit card needed
  • Be accurate about what each plan includes and what it costs

What you cannot do

These rules apply from the day the program opens, and they're the fast way to lose a partner account. Worth reading now so nothing is a surprise later.

  • Spam links into discussions where they don't belong
  • Exaggerate what Up Speed does, or invent results, customers or statistics
  • Quote prices, response times or features that don't match our pricing page
  • Bid on Up Speed brand terms in paid search
  • Promote Up Speed next to a direct competitor in the same piece
  • List us on coupon, deal or discount-only sites
  • Contact people who never asked to hear from you, by email or DM
